After meeting the National Challenge Advisor, he sent an e-mail in which he said:
The main positive I took from yesterday's meeting was that [we] spent most of our time talking about issues linked to children and raising standards (our conversation about teaching, the Language Specialism, marking, assessment, the evidence in RAISEonline, the compelling evidence in the exercise books we looked and so on).
