The Revd John Ray OBE & Soft Bigotry of Low Expectations

The Revd John Ray OBE fancies himself as some kind of school / education expert with his comment: their expectations were unrealistic!

Let's see how neighbouring Yardleys school - which has a very similar intake as Golden Hillock - performed in 2012. Yardleys does not seem to have a problem with pupils who have English As An Additional Language (EAL), so why did Golden Hillock?

No wonder the DfE ignored his letter. The former Secretary of State for Education Michael Gove was all too familiar with the culture of soft bigotry of low expectations that permeated in some state schools.

In his vituperativearticle about unrealistic expectations, The Revd John Ray claims that he resigned. But the Golden Hillock Governing Body minutes says he retired. What else has The Revd John Ray got wrong in his article?
